MESSAGROS
Mesargos is a dense vegetation village that is found to the north – eastern side of Aegina and in distance 9 km away from the town. It has a magnificent view to the hill on which dominated the temple of Afaias.
Until 1950 the community of Mesagros was a rural region of Aegina and the residents have done mainly with the rural work. However with the tourist exploitation of the beautiful cove of Agia Marina, the region and the life of residents changed.
